LM Garden Restaurant

I organised a lunch for the MG car club monthly run. Approximately 40 people. We ate off the menu. I received nothing but compliments about the venue. The staff were amazing, the food was served quickly, it was hot and fresh and good. I would thoroughly recommend The Garden restaurant for informal gatherings. Thank you so much for a super day out.

We recently had lunch at The Garden Restaurant in Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens. The milkshakes were simply delicious, the beef burger and chicken wrap were mouthwatering, and the malva pudding was the perfect sweet ending. The culinary delights aside, what truly sets this place apart is the stunning view. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, every bite was accompanied by a visual feast.

The Garden Restaurant in the Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens is in one of the most beautiful environments. But more than that, the service is wonderful. From the moment you walk in, you are warmly greeted and welcomed. Naas is excellent. He embodies how to do wonderful and attentive service with a smile. When you consider that this business' other shop is a fish-and-chips shop and they went from that to this restaurant, it's nothing short of remarkable. We tried as many of the mains as we could and everything was well prepared, tender and perfectly flavoured. My recommendation has to be the generous rack of ribs and chips for just R150 ($8) but don't be shy to try the curries either as they are very well made. Ruth was a lovely waitron and was attentive without hovering. And then beyond the food, you also have the wonderful garden environment to enjoy - what a win. Bathrooms are super clean and neatly maintained.

If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil environment with something decadent to enjoy, this beautiful place is where you suppose to be. Fresh home cooked meals, flavors that dance on your pallet, friendly and welcoming staff.We are a family Restaurant. The Garden Restaurant in Harold Porter Botanical Gardens is under new management, not the same owners or chefs. EVERYTHING IS NEW SINCE 2023 its been operating for (1 year & 7 months)Now As for past mistakes & previous rumors and complaints we are now trying to rebuild the reputation of The Restaurant. Fast service is a top priority

I really enjoyed lunch here in the tranquil setting of the gardens. My beef curry with roti really hit the spot! The service was friendly and attentive - they were always quick to shoo the baboons away whenever they came near.

At short notice the team was able to cook and serve for 30 something people. Our guest have been talking about them all the way to Cape Town and all the international delegates were pleased. They work so well together, the human conveyor belt was well oiled. The food is to die for. Everything is fresh. You'll never go wrong. Zaid, Louise, Michaela and your team, thank you so much for making me look good in front of my guest. I so wish you could deliver in CPT The Parliament
